JUNE RISING: The Foundation’s Inaugural Benefit

Thank you to all who joined us for a festive night of friends, music, food and drink, fundraising, and a special celebration of education in Beacon!

What a night! Thanks to this amazing community, we came together and raised almost $5,000 to support innovative student learning experiences in BCSD schools at our first gala! We enjoyed the exquisite music of Rhythm Rising Latin Jazz Band and Beacon Rising Choir surrounded by the beauty of University Settlement Camp theater.
We extend our deepest thanks to everyone who attended, to our event sponsors, and to the many donors of top-shelf prizes to what may have been the world’s biggest raffle (?!) . A very special thank you to the musicians who filled our hearts with incredible music.
We celebrated our school district’s accomplishments during the pandemic to nurture and nourish our children and families in the toughest hours and days of life under the clouds of Covid-19. And we enjoyed being together again. Thank you!
